A huge, thank you, to you all so much for working with PS 57 today! Thank you Mario and April for your excellent performances! The children absolutely enjoyed themselves. I look forward to working with you in the future.

I just wanted to send you my sincerest gratitude for a wonderful event last Sunday. I feel bad that I didn’t have much time to chat with you as I’m so busy the day of the event, but I didn’t want you to think I wasn’t appreciative of the beautiful music and entertainment provided by you and your musicians. I received nothing but compliments about the event. You have become such an integral part of the event.
— Patricia Troiano, Coordinator, Brunch with Santa, Greenwich Parks & Recreation
The Museum has been fortunate to have worked with April since opening the Museum in 2015. She is a brilliant member of the Museum’s storytelling team. Her voice is layered and unpredictable, yet familiar and easy to pay attention to. She knows how to deliver a narrative that fully engages adults as well as members of the Museum’s target audience of children ages 3-8. She is a solid performer who collaborates generously when given the opportunity to develop a new idea with our team.
— Lauren Kelly, Director and Chief Curator Sugar Hill Children's Museum of Art & Storytelling
Kids as young as three and as old as 4th grade were completely enthralled by April and her stories from around the world. She drew them in with music and captured their imaginations. The program was a wonderful part of our International Cultures Festival.

On behalf of the Beth El community I wanted to thank you for your engaging and informal learning/storytelling at Beth El, during the last hour of the of the most challenging day of the year! From the moment we met you were gracious and enthusiastic. Rabbi Dorsch and I really appreciated how you were flexible with your songs and stories. Your Hiney Ma Tov was remarkable! Last night the children were attentive and having fun! How do I know? Because their parents came to the Rabbi and I to thank us for offering the children a meaningful activity so they could pray!
— Julie Rockowitz, Beth El Synagogue Center, New Rochelle, NY
We cannot stop talking about you and how fabulous Tuesday was! We loved the original lyrics to the 50 Bowery song – I want to print them in a fun way to keep the song going!!!

April Armstrong, Teaching Artist, has been fabulous. She has carefully worked with me to tailor and modify her presentations for my class. She asks questions, listened to suggestions, and has been responsive to the students’ needs. What a success it has been!
— Muriel Delabar, Special Education Teacher, Grade 12 The Wheatley School
Your enthusiasm, expertise, creativity and dedication made the Wheatley Midterm Experience 2012 an overwhelming success. Thank you for providing our students with an experience that they will surely remember way beyond their years at Wheatley.
— Jo Beth Roberts, The Wheatley School, Librarian

April Armstrong was exceptionally captivating for the kids. She did a good job of integrating stories, music and drama. April also included science and social studies.
